Oh Say can you see, by the dawns early light……….
Isabelle was feeling very patriotic on Independence Day last week. She wanted to celebrate the 4th of July in style with a handmade, one-of-a-kind dress! This dress is a 1930’s inspired Flour Sack Dress. In the 1920’s and 30’s during the depression, women used the sacks that the flour came in to make dresses. My grandma made this one for me and it has such cute details!
I french braided a red ribbon into Isabelle’s hair, which turned out to be a good idea because it was windy that day! The little red star shoes really add the finishing touch.
XOXO Kara
